“John Lewis: Good Trouble” Drive-In Screening

Getting out of the house to enjoy a family outing has been no simple task. Gather your family, load your car, pack your snacks, and join us for a pop up movie experience. This is a FREE family outing with an emphasis on community, fun and safety.

Open Communities Alliance (OCA), the Beta Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Delta Pi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and the Town of East Hartford is hosting a drive-in movie screening on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Showcase Cinemas – East Hartford Parking Lot, the largest outdoor screening facility in Hartford county.

In honor of the late Congressman John Lewis, we are screening the new “ John Lewis: Good Trouble” documentary This will be a FREE community event for up to 200 cars.

The movie will be screened on an LED movie screen, providing viewers with clear and vibrant images. For sound, attendees will scan their radio to a designated station.

Social distancing will be strictly enforced. In order to adhere to all social distancing mandates, we ask attendees to stay in the car once parked. All parking spots are first come, first served. A port-a-let restroom will be available, along with hand sanitizer and Lysol spray.
